The other day Manda and I were having a discussion and for some reason I uttered the phrase, "Open Sesame!" Manda replied, "Did you just say sesame??" I nodded and gave her a curious look. She gave me the same curious look. "It's open says me...," she said.
I had a good laugh and was obliged to tell her she was wrong. She didn't believe me, stating the word "sesame" didn't make sense when wanting something open. She didn't believe me until I found this...

It's actually quite entertaining to read but all you need to know about Ali Baba is...
"The young Ali Baba works collecting and cutting firewood (a valuable commodity) in the forest, and one day he happens to overhear a group of forty thieves visiting their treasure store in the forest. The treasure is in a cave, the mouth of which is sealed by magic. It opens on the words "Open, Simsim" (commonly written as "Open Sesame" in English), and seals itself on the words "Close, Simsim" ("Close Sesame"). When the thieves are gone, Ali Baba enters the cave himself, and takes some of the treasure home."
There ya have it.
Love you Manda Bear!
