The Secret

I am not talking about the secret fountain of youth.

I am not talking about that book/movie or whatever it is that promises "the secret."

I am not talking about the secret formula for coca-cola.

I am not talking about the secret to six pack abs.

I am talking about THE secret to an amazing sandwich. (Now that I think of it, maybe my secret really is the secret to those other things...?? Interesting.)

*Now that you have the giggles out, let's get serious*

Avocado's. Did you know they grow on trees? Well, they do and one day I hope to own my own avocado tree. This delectable treat can make any sandwich, or salad, something special. I just enjoyed what would have been an ordinary/plain turkey sandwich. But alas! I topped it off with an "Avo" and it became a piece of heaven and, I might add, the envy of an entire office.

Not only are avocado's very pleasant to look at, extremely tasty, but they are very healthy as well. Studies have shown that they help reduce cholesterol. PLUS, if you replace the miracle whip (or mayo for weirdy's) with avocado then your sandwich won't only taste better, it will be healthier! Who wouldn't want that?

This is an invitation to all...next time you're at the store, pick one up. Or, next time you're at Subway, ask for avocado...You won't be sorry!

Sold again! It is a magnificent creation chiseled by God himself! It tastes great compressed between two pieces of white bread with the bread crust served as an appetizer!

Have you ever had it on a Panini??? SO good-

100% whole wheat bread
turkey or roast beef
cheese- any kind
onion

honey mustard on 1 piece of bread

all made on a panini press... SO yummy!!!

Way to make your wifie a sandwhich :)

Avos...true words. Though why must they always charge extra for them? I usually refrain just for that reason. And p.s. mayo trumps miracle whip...how could you even stomach that tangy accident of a spread...do you even know what it's made from??

Well, now I'm just hungry.

I do like the style of your writing. "Avos" are good stuff.

When I lived in the philippines we had huge avacado trees in our backyard. We could not eat enough each day. We would take four huge ones off the tree each day then eat them the next day when they were ready. Pretty yummy....
